What to Expect
As with all our full-day North Cyprus tours, our friendly driver and expert tour guide will collect you from your hotel for your Karpaz Peninsula adventure.
Your first stop is Bogaz for a coffee break if you wish, and a chance to take phAentury Greek church of Ayios Synesios before entering the impressive 20th century mosque just next door.
Time for lunch at our favourite Karpaz restaurant! Enjoy deliciously fresh North Cyprus dishes served on the shady terrace, with views over the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. This tasty lunch is included in your tour price; just buy your own soft drinks, wine or beer.
Now the landscape starts to change as you head into the Karpaz National Park. Inevitably, we’ll have to stop to meet the feral donkeys that live wild here. They usually demand a carrot or an apple or six before we can pass!
Ride through wild and rugged countryside to the very tip of the peninsula and the Apostolos Andreas Monastery, one of the ‘must see’ North Cyprus attractions. Legend says that the Apostle Andrew landed here and created a spring with a single strike of his staff. Soak up the atmosphere in this important Cyprus monastery, and taste the healing spring waters alongside the many pilgrims who travel here.
The Karpaz has some of the most glorious beaches in Cyprus. If time and weather permit, your tour bus will stop at the best of them all, Golden Beach. Here you can relax on the sands, soak up the sun, and maybe take a cooling dip in the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.
As the afternoon fades into evening, we’ll head back towards Famagusta, Nicosia or Kyrenia and return you to your North Cyprus hotel.

Meeting Point
- You will be picked up from your hotel lobby.
- Your confirmation email will indicate the time.
- Make sure to be at your hotel’s lobby 10 minutes before your pick up time.
- For a few hotels in Kyrenia, we will pick you up from the nearby main road.
- If you are not staying in a hotel, then you must come to the lobby of one of the hotels.
Important Information
- This is a group tour/activity.
- Departure time is between 08:00 am and 09:30 am.
- Returns to original departure point.
- For a full refund, cancel at least 3 days in advance o the start date of the tour.
- There is no need to print email confirmation. The guide will have a list of participants, and they will only need to check your name from the list.
